Swiss Summer Hockey League (SSHL)
Insurance (accident, health, and liability insurance) is the responsibility of participants or their legal guardians. The organizers and coaches of the Swiss Summer Hockey League (SSHL) assume no liability for injuries, illnesses, or damage to property or assets, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. No liability is assumed for loss, theft, or damage to personal equipment, clothing, or valuables.
By registering, participants or their legal guardians confirm that the player is healthy, physically fit, and suitable for participation in all league activities. Relevant health restrictions, allergies, or required medications must be disclosed during registration.
Organizers and coaches will consider requests regarding team composition or team assignment insofar as possible. The final assignment of teams, lines, and training groups is solely at the discretion of SSHL management.
Instructions from coaches and supervisors must be followed without restriction. Repeated misconduct, violation of rules, theft, or willful damage to facilities or equipment may result in immediate exclusion from the league. Exclusion does not entitle participants to a refund of the participation fee. For minors, legal guardians will be notified immediately.
Registration is conducted online and is binding. The contract is concluded once the participation fee is paid in full and the registration confirmation is provided by SSHL. If the participation fee is not paid within the communicated deadline, registration may be deleted without any claim to services or place reservation. The number of participants is limited.
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following regulations apply: * Up to 60 days before league start: Full refund of participation fee minus CHF 100.– processing fee. * 59 to 30 days before league start: 50% refund of participation fee. * Less than 30 days before league start: No refund. Exceptions (e.g., serious illness or accident) may be reviewed at SSHL's discretion but do not entitle participants to a refund.
If a participant becomes unable to continue participation after league start due to health reasons, there is no entitlement to refund or reduction of the participation fee.
By registering, participants or their legal guardians consent to the taking of photographs and video recordings during the league. These may be used and published by SSHL for communication and marketing purposes (website, social media, printed materials, etc.). Any revocation must be made in writing before league start.
SSHL reserves the right to cancel or postpone the league for important reasons (e.g., insufficient participants, official requirements, force majeure). In case of cancellation, paid participation fees will be fully refunded, or refunded minus any mandatory expense contributions already made (max. CHF 100.–). Further claims are excluded.
SSHL reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The current version applies, which will be communicated before registration.
Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction is the seat of the organizer, unless mandatory legal provisions apply otherwise.
